COVID Photoshoot Precautions

Velvet Moon Studios actively follows the CDC Guidelines as well as monitors reports on COVID-19. We ask in advance for your understanding and assistance in enforcing our precautions – some of which may be a little uncomfortable and/or inconvenient. Let's work together to keep everyone safe!

Studio Precautions

  • Photoshoots are always done outdoors and all equipment is kept 6 feet from subjects as much as possible.

  • All equipment will be sterilized with CDC approved supplies and cleaning agents.

  • The photographer and assistant(s) will always wear a mask and sanitize frequently.

  • We practice social distancing of at least 6 feet away from clients when shooting. There will be no personal contact with the photographer, assistant(s), or clients, This includes handshakes, fist-bumps, or any standard human-to-human salutation.

  • We practice "no-touch" posing methods to minimize the impact of our photoshoots. The photographer and assistant(s) will not be able to fix your hair or clothing during the photoshoot. View this article to find out more about preparing for a photoshoot.

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided on set when possible.

Client Guidelines

  • Clients are required to wear masks unless actively having their photos done. Any guests who are not actively participating in the photoshoot (aka not on camera) must also wear a mask. You may be asked to provide proof of vaccine at any given time if you choose not to wear a mask.

  • We ask that you do not bring any guests to set who are not participating in the photoshoot at all. This minimizes the risk of COVID while shooting.

  • If a client needs to eat or drink during the photoshoot, we ask that you maintain a distance of at least 6 feet away from others when doing so.

By booking a session with Velvet Moon Studios, you are agreeing to follow these guidelines. If the client(s) or photographer are experiencing symptoms and/or have a temperature of at least 100.4, the session will be rescheduled for at least 3 weeks later. You will not lose your reservation fee if the photoshoot needs to be rescheduled due to illness.
